How do I become accredited?

Becoming an accredited landlord is simple and will take you no more than a few minutes.

Check out our aims and code of conduct, then complete the online application. The application will ask you for some basic information about you, your properties and expect you to upload copies of your gas, electrical safety certificates and EPC. If you don't have them to hand, don't worry you can still apply and you can upload them later.

Accreditation will be given where a landlord fulfils the criteria of the Scheme. This will involve ensuring, as far as reasonably possible, that the landlord is responsible, competent and suitable to be a member of the Scheme.
